ODBC APIのヘルプによると、

SQLExecute()なら

SQLSTATE    Error           Description

01004       Data truncated  The prepared statement associated with
                            the hstmt contained a character or binary
                            parameter or literal and the value exceeded
                            the maximum length of the associated table
                            column.

                            The prepared statement associated with the
                            hstmt contained a numeric parameter or literal
                            and the fractional part of the value was
                            truncated.

                            The prepared statement associated with the
                            hstmt contained a date or time parameter or
                            literal and a timestamp value was truncated.

ということですし、
SQLExecDirect()なら

SQLSTATE    Error           Description

01004       Data truncated  The argument szSqlStr contained an SQL
                            statement that contained a character or
                            binary parameter or literal and the value
                            exceeded the maximum length of the
                            associated table column.

                            The argument szSqlStr contained an SQL
                            statement that contained a numeric parameter
                            or literal and the fractional part of the
                            value was truncated.

                            The argument szSqlStr contained an SQL
                            statement that contained a date or time
                            parameter or literal and a timestamp value
                            was truncated.

ということです。
ようはtruncateされた(切り捨てられた)ということでしょう。
＃って、メッセージにもそう書いてありますし。

「何をしようとしてそうなったのか？」が問題ですから、
AUTOEXEC.BATに
set MYSQL_DEBUG=d:t:O,c::\myodbc.log
を追加して再起動してその処理を行ない、ログ(c:\myodbc.log)
を調べてみてください。
