そもそも
  GNU Public License
という略し方がおかしいです。
このデンでいくとGNU Lesser Generic Public Licenseや、
昔のGNU Emacs General Public LicenseもGPLになってしまい
ませんかね。

  GNU General Public License
とか
  GNU GPL
とかはアリですが。
